CAA apportions Rs4.5b for further development of Multan airport

Pakistan’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has apportioned a sum of Rs4.5billion towards further development of Multan airport, as part of its ongoing efforts towards upgradation of airports across the country.

Of the allocated amount Rs1billion is to be contributed by the government. The efforts are to make Multan airport into an international airport.

Under the project, the terminal building of Multan airport will be expanded and the airside facilities will be upgraded and both works are to be carried out in two phases.
